Air Belgium has recently announced its highly-anticipated flight programme for the upcoming 2024 summer season, unveiling new routes connecting Belgium to South Africa and Mauritius. The airline’s strategic move aims to provide travelers with enhanced connectivity options and convenient travel experiences.
In an official statement released by Air Belgium, the company outlined its plans to operate two weekly frequencies on Wednesdays and Sundays, facilitating travel between Brussels and Johannesburg or Cape Town. Additionally, the airline will offer two weekly frequencies on Tuesdays and Fridays, connecting Brussels to the tropical paradise of Mauritius. These routes will be in operation from March through October next year, catering to the high-demand period for summer vacations.
Air Belgium emphasized that its extended interline agreements, including a recent contract with Air Mauritius, would further enhance the travel options available to its passengers. As a result, travelers flying with Air Belgium will have the opportunity to seamlessly connect to and from 17 domestic destinations within South Africa, along with 29 other regional destinations in Southern Africa. Additionally, the airline’s interline agreements will open up travel possibilities to three stunning Indian Ocean destinations: Reunion, Madagascar, and Rodrigues.
Exciting news for winter 2023/2024 travelers, Air Belgium also announced improvements to its flight schedule to Mauritius during this period. Passengers will now have the advantage of flying overnight twice a week from Brussels on Tuesdays and Fridays, ensuring more convenient arrival and departure times.
