    Artemis Curepipe Hospital welcomes its first patients. This new private hospital, built on a modern 10,000 m2 infrastructure erected by GREA (Gateway Real Estate Africa) in the heart of Curepipe, comprises four floors and has 86 beds. With a parking capacity of over 200 cars, it employs 257 staff members. Developed under the direction of Falcon Healthcare Group, Artemis Curepipe Hospital opens its doors with a clear mission: to provide world-class care with the patient’s best interest as a priority.

    Artemis Curepipe Hospital establishes itself in the Mauritian medical landscape as a multidisciplinary facility, offering consultations in general medicine, cardiology, gynecology, pediatrics, intensive care, gastroenterology, oncology, rheumatology, pulmonology, dermatology, orthopedics, general surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. To meet the criteria of excellence, the laboratory, radiology department, and operating theaters are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that adhere to international standards. The operations of Artemis Curepipe Hospital will be managed by Artemis Medicare Services Ltd. This reputable and renowned hospital in Gurgaon, India, Artemis Hospitals, offers first-class care in a patient-centric environment. The transfer of expertise will be ensured in Mauritius by the new Chief Operating Officer of Artemis Curepipe Hospital, Aditya Rana, who brings a decade of experience in the medical sector in India and Sudan.

    Under his guidance, Artemis Curepipe Hospital combines medical excellence with competitive pricing. By opening its doors, this new establishment emerges as an innovative force, breathing new life into the private medical sector in Mauritius, determined to provide exceptional healthcare services to the Mauritian community and beyond.

    Practical information:

    Appointments for all consultations can be made by calling (+230) 651 5050, and for any medical emergencies, the number to dial is 121.

    Visiting hours for general care units are from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The intensive care department allows visits from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

    Pharmacy opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday, and from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sundays.

    Regarding radiology, the operating hours are as follows: weekdays from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The department is not operational on Sundays and public holidays.
